Thank You Forever
By Vivian May Edwards
Thank you forever
Lord Jesus, how can I
Express how I feel
All my love
My heart’s cry
You’ve given me more
Than I ever could hope for
You laid down your life
Touched my soul
Healed my strife
If I never again felt your love
Knew your grace
Your protection, your mercy
Your kind warm embrace
Your guidance, provision
Compassion so pure
I’d still feel so blessed
Yes, I’d know that for sure
My cup over flows
Yes, my sinful heart knows
My Savior’s done more
Touched my soul to its core
Lord Jesus I’ll thank you
For ever and always
For giving me faith
Yes, it’s You I will praise
For giving me life
For restoring my soul
I’ll forever be grateful
Your praise is my goal
I’m humbled, I’m thrilled
Yes, my heart is full, filled
For all that You’ve done
Praise to you, Holy One
My name's written down
Up in heaven above
You’ve done all, I rejoice
Thank you for your great love
And your gift, what a lift
And your grace, O what grace
That one day I will see
Your bright shining pure face
The fact that You chose me
Before I was born
The fact that You willingly suffered
Cruel scorn
The fact that You died
From the grave You were raised
I thank you forever
Your name, is my praise.
